Rush - I think he knows me…
Published by Mike Stark February 23rd, 2006 in Podcast, Rush LimbaughHe never let me ask my other question… which would have been: “You know, Dubya’s a pretty young guy - he’ll have a lot of time left when he leaves office. Do you think he’ll travel the world proselytizing for the Moonies the way his father did? Google it.”
I was really looking forward to recording the sounds and fury of the screener after Rush hung up on me…

I hope you keep hammering the Moonie-Wash.Times connection. Some of the posters here seem to be implying that it’s no big deal, but it definitely is. Keep up the good work!
Good job - you’ve done it again!
First, you failed to get any hits in on Limbaugh. Second, you allowed him to make a great point!
If you really were in talk radio, you’d know that often the caller is cut off due to time and many other factors. You want to believe Rush cut you off because he recognized you and feared your superior intellect. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Mike, you’re doing a bang up job of helping the RNC get its message out. Keep up the GREAT work!
I love to hear that fatass bigmouth stumble around after you let him have one to the beak.
Rush is in favor of making our country less secure.
I think I’ll write that again…
Rush is in favor of making our country less secure.
Here’s what’s so darn funny. The Rushites and neocons are so wedded to George Dubia Bush that they can no longer engage in critical thought. They know they are wrong for their knee-jerk defence of George Dubai but they can’t help themselves. Okay so the Carlyle Group, in which the Bush cartel are up to their armpits, is a huge shareholder of the British port company selling to DPW. Why is no one talking about that?
Man I’ve been waiting for this since a series of calls I had to Rush in the mid-90s where he similarly chickened out. But i was able to get in some great jabs including crowning him the “Jabba the Hut of American politics” which he seemed proud of and actually touted himself as such until someone apparently clued him in.
The fact is these kinda calls can take on lives of their own. After Rush chickened out on me the first time when I delighted in his discouragment at Newt’s revolution bombing due to the lobbyists taking over committee rooms to write bills (sound familar), he lamented that there was no debating anyone who would think something so outrageous. His callers then hammered him for chickening out to the point that he invited an hours worth of liberal callers a few days later. The first caller that day was Robert F. kennedy who explained exactly the damage the GOP was doing the environment. Fun, huh? But then it got ugly, but I’ll have to tell you the rest later since the Univ of Melbourne library is closin now!
Loved it… Got him record supporting money over security just as you said. Hey, Talk Radio is stacked against the caller, so these little snippets of disagreement are great. Keep up the good work.
