That’s funny: I don’t see anything in there that refers to what you did. Perhaps they should explain HOW you supposedly violated those terms. ;)

    Kudos!

  2. 2 cosmo

What a bunch of uptight ninnies. Could you imagine working for that self-righteous prick?

  3. 3 Slade73

I’m sure all of his subordinates hate him.

  4. 4 Doug Drenkow

Maybe they meant that Bill O’Reilly isn’t behaving in a mature manner that lends itself to civil discourse. ;)

  5. 5 wellstoner

    Unreal.

Does anyone even like this guy?
    What a total dick.

Its like when you flip through late night
cable and you see some made up painted
whore talking about heaven and hell
and you think: “who the fuck is listening to
this woman right now? Who are her friends?
Does God want her to wear all that tacky
    make-up and that cheap dress?”

O’Reilly is down to the core audience now
and he’s starting to go at them too.
The caller obviously liked the show.

The Republicans are eating their own
    everybody else step back.

  6. 6 brandnamesocks

he’s seriously losing his cool, i see an “extended family leave” coming up

  7. 7 jason

Oh boy, not only are they going to have you arrested, but they are also going to cancel your membership! LOL!

  8. 8 Radiofree

Not only is Billy a dick, he’s a lying dick at that….

I know a little something about radio and there is NO WAY the “local authorities” are going to pay anyone a visit for a prank call to a radio show. There is nothing illegal about that.

Plus, I doubt his claim that they have everyone’s phone number. If they do, then how does Mike continue to get on the O’Reilly Show? Wouldn’t someone notice if the same kept messing with them from the same number?

The only way the authorities will investigate is if there is a threat made. In a previous radio job years ago we had some guy phone in a bomb threat - we called the phone company, had the line traced and the cops paid the young (drunk) man a visit the next day.

The words “Keith Olbermann” haven’t been banned by the FCC - not yet anyway…

  9. 9 The T-Dog

O’Rielly certainly has your number now. (Be on the lookout for FOX SECURITY, ha ha!) This email you got leads me to believe they know about this website, too… not surprising, since the little troll lackeys have been posting here… they’d jump at the chance to “inform on” you to their intellectual “leader…” almost makes them feel like the 1930’s Germans they’re trying to emulate.

It’ll probably get harder for you to call O’Loofah now, as they certainly will be looking out for your number on the Caller ID. I’d recommend blocking it. Perhaps you could use disposable cell phones… do they have different numbers each time you buy one? Just some thoughts.

Keep up the good work as long as you can, and good luck if you’re ever cornered by the dreaded forces of FOX SECURITY!

  10. 10 drseuss

mike… if you paid with a credit card (which I bet you did) you can probably get a refund from them. Give em a call and see if you can get that money back.

    Good luck today!

  11. 11 jason

“mike… if you paid with a credit card (which I bet you did) you can probably get a refund from them. Give em a call and see if you can get that money back.”

Right on! Do a chargeback. If you only had the service for that short of a period, your credit card company should side with you on it.

  12. 12 parrotguy

Seems like I just read a story about pre-paid calling cards that allow the user to “Spoof” the caller ID system by sending any number the user chooses. Just a thought. For instance ……….. http://www.spoofcard.com/index.asp

Wow! Good thing Bill holds people who pay for his shite to a higher standard than he is held to himself!

  14. 14 Swampfoot

There’s an easy way to block your own caller ID.

Do a google search for the exact phrase “Asterisk vertical service activation codes”

It works on a per-call basis, I tested it by calling my cellphone from my land line - the cell normally displays my land number, but after entering the code before dialing the cell number (wait for the dial tone again after entering it), the cell displays “Caller ID Blocked” when it rings.

We shall see if this spoofs the Great Falafel PBX System.

  15. 15 The T-Dog

    That’s brilliant, Parrotguy!

You should look into that, Mike–not only does it spoof the Caller ID, but it also changes your voice, AND records the call!

  16. 16 Swampfoot

By the way, I got through to the screener twice today - once as “Harley from Cleveland” where I actually got to talk to Falafel, but he cut me as soon as I mentioned Keith’s name and pretended like nothing happened. Then during the second hour I got through as someone else, but the screener dumped me about three seconds after I started telling him my topic, so it was either Caller ID or he recognized my voice.

I was NOT using the disabled Caller ID trick today, though.

  17. 17 The T-Dog

I just read the FAQ on the spoofcards page, and it says the service is disabled for calling toll-free numbers, dangit. I don’t know if O’Rielly has a long-distance number you can call if you were so inclined, but if he only has a toll-free number, you can’t use the spoof card with it. It was worth a shot, tho.

  18. 18 Republicans are urinals

Did anybody else notice the two spellings in this letter:

    BillOreilly.com

    and

    BilOReilly.com

It looks like Bill can’t spell his own name! Or the staff couldn’t possibly give less of a shit about representing him accurately!

  19. 19 Rosalita

This is hilarious - you barely got the word ‘Olberma…
and you were cut off and threatened by O’reilly.

What a crybaby he is- I think he’s flipping out or something.

and Bill. yeah you Mr tough guy O’Reilly - If you are
reading this I got one word for you………

    ‘Olberman’

  20. 20 parrotguy

Well Shoot I was hoping the Spoofcard system would help. But I didn’t read the FAQ. Sorry about that.

  21. 21 Charles

    Hmm,

I guess since part of your current finances were pseudo dependent upon access to that site, wonder if you have a stand to sue for damages. Did you do anything on that site that led to termination as stated in the cancelation notice?

PS: Can you post at the top of the page the telephone number and time of the Radio Host you called.

  22. 22 earl

    Terminate your account? What account?

  23. 23 drseuss

    Charles:

Mike only paid for that membership so He could get the clip of the caller (since it wasn’t him). It was “Mike from Florida” another Wingnut Spinner.

  24. 24 jmaharry

You are my new hero. O’Reilly really is ‘a stain on humanity’ (in Cindy Sheehan’s phrase).

Let us know what your attorney says. I’m thinking of joining you in your phone crusade. Getting contacted by Fox Security, however, would be kind of unnerving.

I’m glad to have discovered your blog. I’ll look around to see if you have audio of other O’Reilly experiences.

  25. 25 Joe

    Victory is yours!

  26. 26 William Borgstrom

Any enemy of Cindy Sheehan is an enemy of mine–any friend of Bill O’Riley is an enemy too.

  27. 27 yousayfalafel

Just hang up on fox security, they are nothing more than rent a cops. I bet they are just thilled to make the calls for billy, maybe they will be rewarded with a no spin coffee cup or a used loofa.

  28. 28 jjjjjjj

Bravo. Just listened to the clip where Bill threatened you with mob action at your home. First threat, there? I don’t listen to the guy, just to Keith Olbermann….but I am wondering how long Mr. Falafel will be able to take the heat?

  29. 29 Marisa

I am very disturbed by the fact that O’Reilly is using his position to intimidate people. None of you who have been called by FNC security said anything other than Olbermann?

    What an ass.

Of course anyone who gets the call should hang up. This is unbelievably cheap intimidation tactics. It makes me want to give it a go.

  30. 30 Joe

None of you who have been called by FNC security said anything other than Olbermann?

Well it was positive things about Olbermann. I’m sure if people had been saying “Bill you’re totally right Olbermann is the antichrist and his show is terrible” O’Reilly might have let it pass.

  31. 31 kat

I work for a landline phone company and not all phone numbers show up on callerID when calling a toll free #. Also, if you are planning to make calls in the future and you are not able to block your # with *67 you can take your address out of your telephone listing and just have your name with no address. They can call you but reverse directory will not have the address attached to the number. Give that a couple of weeks to take effect in all the directory databases however. However, if anyone is truly intent on getting your address and has some good contacts they can probably get your address eventually.

  32. 32 Jasper

My friend went out with Bill in his Colorado days. Even then he was a sickening bore with the pancake makeup, the pompous egotism, but its the scams to raise money ended it for her. She beliieves he would sell doormats with nude pics of his grandma if he could make a buck. Thats what really drives him. Just check what he is selling on his site. She along with so many others now despises bully boy Bill!
