Bill O’Reilly just had the head of Fox Security, Anthony, call me andsay someonw was making harassing phone calls today to Bill O’Reilly. Anthony could not tell me how many were made, and what was said. But he accused me of having harassing phone calls coming from my phone.
I am email Keith Olberman with this.
If you’re serious that you received a call from Fox, that is really over the line. I would say that having sicking a company security person on a private citizen is harrassment. It’s like being chased by someone with road rage.
Fox doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’s a friggin radio talk show…you know “call me at blah, blah”…he’s ASKING for calls.

1. Any last names?
2. Any callback numbers?
3. Next time, indicate the call is being recorded for your lawyer.
4. What exactly is the specific complaint?
5. Is this an intimidating phone call?
6. Call the number back if you can, and ask for Anthony, Head Of Fox Security.

A threat is a threat. Take it seriously and report it to the relevant authorities.
And if you want to make sure it gets on the radar screen use a blackberry to make the report.
That way it goes through Canuckistan which means it will be logged automatically……

Janeane Garofalo gave you a plug on her Air America show a couple of hours ago on XM. Even played the audio. In the same bit she tracked down the Security bozo’s name and phone number and gleefully handed it out on the air. I’m sure he’s slammed with calls by now. She also suggested a contest(with prizes!), just to see if we can push Bill over the edge. He’s sooooooooo close to a total on-air meltdown over Keith’s name. Also offered a few other names/references for finding the hot button.

I emailed you about the disappearing phone number of the thug from my cell phone AND my cell phone company. Also - I spoke to my lawyer and another lawyer, and they both think that what O’Reilly did was illegal, harassment of a caller you invite in, and then intimidate.
Are you or any of the other callers who received calls from FoxNews going to do anything about it?

That is unbelievable. Because it was a one time deal and because he has an army of lawyers, I don’t think you’d get anywhere with a civil lawsuit unless he continues this and you can get a bunch of people together to allege harassment as a group to show a pattern of behavior. This just blows my mind. You didn’t say anything else right? You just mentioned Olbermann’s name?
