Hey y’all…
As much fun as last week was, it is really just the beginning. Since the Olbermann segment, scores of people have signed on to commit an hour to calling O’Reilly’s show next week. The “peppering” O’Reilly has received is about to become a torrential downpour. If you can, tune into his show… chuckle a little bit every time he hangs up on a caller that says “Keith Olbermann.”
And know this: it doesn’t stop with his radio show. I’m in the early stages of planning an event for later in that week that will draw even more attention to O’Reilly erratic and unexplainable behavior.
Finally, use this weekend to brainstorm ideas… I’ve got my own, but I’ve learned that with the internet, my ideas are almost never the best ones available. Think you’ve got a hum-dinger? Post it in the comments. And stay tuned.

For those who are just finding Mike and learning of his cause, I would like to let you know that what is being done with O’Lielly is somewhat different. Mike usually calls to debate and discredit these RWingers and shoot down their talking points. It is an uphill battle and the host always holds the advantage.
With that being said, what is happening with BOR is that we are witnessing a man on the verge of tipping. He is so over the top that these, admittedly childish, acts are to throw him off balance. Bill will not engage in real debate, so I believe that it is fair to throw him off his game and rattle him a little. We should still have callers engage him in debate, but shaking his cage is good, too.

Check the “site meter” on the bottom of the front page under “referrals”. This site is being linked all over the Internet : ) Including Air America’s Majority Report etc.
I will be trying to phone in as well on Monday….should be fun…….I also have this website bookmarked for future events….I have waiting for this kind of thing for some time, and now we have a legitimate competitor…..lets keep the pressure on…don’t give up, Mike, and do try to get on Countdown and expose this fool for what he is.

Coupla suggestions….
1. Buy long distance calling cards and use them to call the wingnuts. When you use them, the phone number that appears on the caller ID could be anywhere in the US.
2. I wouldn’t spend a whole lot of time on BO, hit him sporadically when his defense is down and he’s not expecting it. There are MANY other wingnuts radio talk show hosts who need to be put on the defensive. If you all go after BO it WILL look like harrassment. When you consistantly call in to all of them, it spreads them out and gets your message in more markets.
JMHO….
I also suggest that there’s more to calling up BO than just to mention Olberman’s name. Do it in context
Example: “Hey Bill, you’re my third favorite radio entertainer” (that’s rip at his credibility, as he’s just an entertainer with an opinion, just like those in Hollywood he complains about when they voice their political opinions).
If he asks why he’s only third, just say “Well, you’re the one I turn to during the commercial breaks on Olberman’s show (or Al Franken’s show)”. Sorta true for me, but I prefer to turn to Dennis Prager during Air America’s break.
Complement him something completely false “I’m so touched with you honoring the troops by volunteering to goto Iraq on a USO tour just like Al Franken did” Now he has to deny doing something good that Al Franken has done a number of times.
Stutter a bit like you trying to go for a word “Don’t you hate how now even Republicans are saying Iraq’s in an qua… a quo … I mean a falafel, Iraq’s in a complete falafel”.
Ask him why he hates America and her constitutional guarentee of free speech? Mention his abuse of authority.
Here’s something important, Google the topic that comes up if you can. Have a valid point to make then ZING him. Don’t stutter, be willing to say “Unlike you, I’m willing to say I don’t know at this time”
He’s a top rated radio show? Ask him why he discounts all polling data when it’s negative to this administration? Aren’t his ratings based on polling data? Can he prove more than 500 people listen to him (the amount on the poll that said they did)?
Just some ideas. Most of all, be comfortable, breath, take a drink of water and sit down while you wait. DO NOT call in your car cause I don’t want you driving near me being distracted by the Falafel boy.
I’m planning on telling Loofa how sad I am that Franken is beating him badly in the ratings game.

I checked out the other site and tried to leave a comment, but since I don’t have a blog, I couldn’t. Cowardly fuckers.
Came up with a great idea, but I don’t have the know how to do it so I need some help.
Idea:
Create a Keith Olbermann sound board and call into the Bill O’Reilly show using it. (after getting through the screener of course)
I am more then willing to isolate the audio clips for use, however I know very little about making a soundboard. Even if the soundboard doesn’t come to fruition someone playing an audio file of Keith saying something about Bill on air would be great.
Any comments, suggestions, help post them here.
Have you thought about selecting a regional wingnut of the week? I am sure there are many worthy wingnuts throughout America that deserve to know the truth. It would be nice to build up 100 to 150 callers to select a wingnut from random….e-mail the wingnut to everyone and then select the time and phone number to utilize. Could it be called the truth of democracy phone callers? Keep up the great job. Look forward to hearing everyone’s successes in battling screeners.
PS….how many screeners do you think identify hecklers and let them through on purpose? You gotta love it. When someone calls you back….make sure you ask them why the screener let you through in the first place. They basically gave you the right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
