Great first hour!

It looks like they’ve changed nothing, except for maybe taking fewer calls (probably to dicsourage us - if you spend an hour trying to get on his show and don’t find success, you are probably less likely to try again tomorrow or the next day - probably not a bad strategy…).

But it doesn’t work against us.  Our calls are getting through.

O’Reilly took a grand total of five callers in the first hour.  At least one of them was one of us, but four of the five (including the Olbermann caller) made reality-based world arguments.

I’ve got the whole show recorded.  It looks like Bill is going to be a little more careful in terms of threatening or otherwise crediting Wingnut Spinners…  but, rest assured, we are taking the people’s airwaves back, one caller at a time.

One more thing you need to know:  they are weeding out Wingnut Spinners.  You’ll get through from one phone one time - after that, they’ve got your phone number and they are checking the CallerID against a list of callers previously identified as Wingnut Spinners.

So call from different phones if you can.

Finally, y’all should know this…  O’Reilly is going to try to ride this out and hope we fizzle out.  We have to outlast him.  That means we need to do constant recruiting and we have to be persistent.  With O’Reilly only taking five calls an hour, the majority of us are going to find it difficult to get on the air with him.  He wants us to go away and will do his best to frustrate and discourage us.  Again, we have to outlast him.

I’ll post the audio from today’s show on this post soon.

(PS - Did anyone that listened catch all the lies he told today?  One after another…  it was unreal. - I’ll try to include some of the more egregious in the audio.)

Do not let his caller ID stop you:

Spoof O’Reilleys efforts to thwart your call:
http://www.telespoof.com/ to place phone calls to O’Reilly.

You may be aware—it spoofs caller ID!

It will give false caller ID numbers to O’Reoilly when our callingallwingnuts team call him.

People can use the phone number of the RNC, The White House, NRA, even Fox news, you name it..whatever they input as their “home phone” at http://www.telespoof.com/ , O’Reilly’s secret police and O’Reilly will go absolutely bonkers!!! It will be freaking hilarious. And a bonus for using spoofed numbers is that he will probably answer more calls if the Caller Id says “Fox Chicago or similar organizations sympathetic to his show.

Good going. I didn’t get a chance to listen to hour one (shucks), but heard a few minutes of hour two. Wish I had 15% of my income (gross or net) to put aside.

Doesn’t Skype or one of the other VOIP providers have some bit of hackery that allows you to spoof your caller id information? Also, they may not have ‘real’ caller ID info. A recent issue (current??) of 2600 points out that there is one bit of id that goes to caller id, and the other goes to billing for 1-800 numbers. I’m sure that the talk radio types could probably get the latter to the call screeners, but do they? It’s worth looking up caller-ID spoofing.

I did get through, but the screener was rude and would not put me through…..fair warning to all, BOR apparently has recruited his screeners from the Customer Service Training Center at Dauchau…..enjoy….

SIP phones also allow you to spoof caller ID. I think gizmo might do it. My SIP terminal adapter will definitely do it.

Will *67 work to block your phone number for his call in show or do they discard all unknown calls?

  6. 6 Patrick

Since they apparently have become more dilligent about screening, I would expect them to block unknown calls.

I found another Great Spoofing Site. www.SpoofCard.com They let you change your voice to sound like the opposite sex!!! you can also record your calls for free so that if you do get on, you can listen and download the whole thing to your PC. Check it out.
