In response to the Trackback posted below, that site is extremely awful at cropping information and sloppily pasting it together to present an arguement the has an outer shell that defends thier points, yet has a breakable inside, where facts and truth break it down until it resembles a section that it can fall into the same category as FOX News has dug itself into.

It doesn't take too long to find enough instances on Faux News, and the radio shows of their vaunted hosts, of their favorite tactic which is more tan likely at work here. That is, they cleverly omit some crucial piece of information that subsequently mischaracterizes the issue completely. Case in point -- Bill O'Lielly's rant about the X-mas song "Silent Night" that kids were "forced" to sing with modified lyrics. Absent from the discussion was the fact that the song was an original lyric set to the tune of Silent Night that helped convey the story of a play, written by a minister, that the kids were performing. Thus, the modified lyrics make perfect sense to just about anyone -- except those intent on waging a phony culture war to their own ends. Here again, it would not be so hard at all to believe that this was deliberately taken far out of context in order to smear liberals and, for that matter, our public education system, which conservatives seem to hate on principle. On seeing the lead-in to the story on Fux News, you would have thought that the students walked out in protest to the teacher's "rant", when in fact (an you would not have heard an utterance of this from Fox) they walked out in protest of the teacher's dismissal!!

Mike,

They have probably started logging their incoming caller ID numbers. I don't know how you do it, and suggest that you don't make it public for a while unless you are sure it is completely fullproof, but I doubt you will be able to get through to anyone that would bother to listen to O'Reilly and take his database of callers who are making him look like a complete ass.

If you do get through to him again using your own phone number, then I will really be amazed at what a cheap idiot he is. Keep us posted.

Debate class? World geography? I seem to recall someone who was speaking for him on one of the shows saying he was teaching an Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography class, which would have been in keeping with the kind of comments he was making.

"he is a geography teacher who was teaching a debate class."

Wrong. It's a world geography class. I ask again, where did this false information come from?
