Regular visitors: Olbermann is doing another segment tonight on the O’Reilly calls. The next two posts are for the folks that might find this site for the first time as a result of tonight’s show…

For those of you visiting for the first time after seeing the segment on Olbermann…

I want you to join our team of “Wingnut Spinners”.

Right now, we are demanding that O’Reilly remove the petition that calls for Keith’s show to be replaced from BillO’Reilly.com. Our method is to call Bill’s show, Monday through Friday from 12-2, EST. Bill refuses to allow any mention of Keith’s name, so we simply tell Bill (once we are on the air with him) that we enjoy Countdown with Keith Olbermann and wish Bill would stop smearing him.

I know I’m asking a lot. This is a dangerous mission. Bill might come to your house and “surprise” you… but probably not. He leveled the threat attached to this blog post on October 28, 2005. I’ve sent him my address and directions to my house, but oddly enough, he still hasn’t found his way up here.

Did Olberman just replay the spot on your call? If so, I hope it comes up on C&L soon…

No - his show will come on in two hours… tune in! But I’m fairly certain C&L will have it for you tonight…

In the past eight months Olberman’s ratings have been soaring and O’Reilly’s are sinking. According to Nielsen’s Competitive Program Ranker, Olbermann’s ratings have gone up 37% since July, 2005 from 119,000 to 163,000 viewers 25-54. O’Reilly, while still number one has lost 16% of his 25-54 viewers decreasing from 540,000 to 454,000. One can only suspect that O’Reilly’s radio audience is also going south.

Mike, some ideas for the site. You need to push some graphics. How about a pic of the relevant wingnut when you do a post of a call.

Take O’Reilly for instance. You should given an image of old splotchy every time you do a post on Bill.

Same goes for Hannity and the rest. Find the worst most unflattering pictures possible. Hell, make it a contest. Keep the size of the images low so as not to eat up bandwidth. Dress up the frontpage a little.

How about a phone number? I am in an area that doesn’t get the O’Lielly radio show, but that dosen’t mean I don’t wanna give him a ring.

I prefer it without their pictures. Most of them (including Hannity, who some say is the best looking of the bunch) clearly have faces made for radio!

Another wingnut directory entry for you to add is the Saturday radio program hosted by the Powerline and Captain’s Quarters bloggers (Hindrocket and Captain Ed among others)

These guys claim that this show is the top political podcast on iTunes. This means that if we can get a nice pointed barb into their show all the wingnut podcaster subscribers will go nuts.

Great going!

Let the noise increase.

I saw Mick’s interview with Keith, both were great, Mick projected a very positive image, with dignity, decorum, intelligence, witt and humor, Keith looks like he’s enjoying it very much.

This segment was tops among tops at a top show.

But that’s our side - Yeah!
