Pick up the phone
Published by Mike Stark March 13th, 2006 in UncategorizedIt’s time for us to reward good behavior - and punish the wayward. As most of you will know, Russ Feingold introduced a censure resolution directed at George W. Bush. In no uncertain terms, Feingold called Bush a lawbreaker.
If you are like me, you’ve been waiting for a democrat to do something bold for way too long.
firedoglake has the plan… please get on board. It’s our time.
(and while I’m at it, let me come out and say that Feingold is my candidate for ‘08… He’d have to grow horns and eat babies before I turn my back on him. He had the balls to vote against the Patriot Act, he’s out in front on campaign finance, and now this… If he takes up electoral reform and reliable voting as an issue, I’ll let him marry my daughter…

And besides, who wouldn’t choose Feingold over Kucinich for that daughter thing anyway.
Amen on Feingold! I’ve lived in Wisconsin for 20 years now, and it’s been apparent to me since the mid 90s that he was angling for the White House one day. He even voted for impeachment in the late 90s, one of a handful of Dems to do so. I disagree that vote, but I’m impressed that he would stand on principle. That’s Feingold.
