That said, my guess is she does not grasp the situation. This is playing out much like the British League of Nations Mandate and I suspect we will enjoy even less success. The Shi’a hate the Sunni and EVERYONE hates the Kurds. So long (as in the former Yugoslavia) as there is someone who is more feared than the other factions, there is peace.
