One host at a time
Published by Mike Stark March 22nd, 2006 in Andrew Wilkowis learning that there is an America out here undergoing a sea-change in attitude. Fewer and fewer of us are content to say, “All politicians suck… politics doesn’t matter… there’s nothing I can do about it… it doesn’t effect my life… they are all the same.”
More and more, people are realizing that their lives have changed. That it’s about time for them to sit up and take notice - and put their politicians on notice. I hear it more and more on talk radio - more people agree with me than ever before. I used to be a pretty lonely voice. Now, even Wilkow admits he’s under seige.
After this call, I got an email from Bill… he called WGY back to make sure they weren’t sending Fox Security to his home for a “little visit”.

Chuck 2 Comes to Calling All Wingnuts to defnd the honor of the conservative movement. Is it his hobby or his job?
I guess a real call is one that agrees with him; fake callers hold him to account.
It’s great hearing Wilkow actually repeating some of the memes that the calling presented. “He wanted to be a wartime president.” “…spoiled little rich boy.” When those phrases are repeated, whether in ernest or in jest, they get stuck into the heads of anyone listening just a little bit more. Anyone who knows anything about the art of modern political debate knows you shouldn’t repeat your opponent’s phrasing, and then let them run away with the debate and make even more points on top of that. Even if you think they’re crazy, you have to cut them off at that point and tell everyone why they’re crazy. All Wilkow did was sound like a little boy taking notes in a classroom; you can almost hear the pen scratching on his notepad as he’s repeating those phrases. This caller is a damn pro, as far as I’m concerned.
This is best site I’ve been to in months— I love seeing liberal and progressive views being pounded into the heads of listeners, all on the conservative movement’s dime. Awesome stuff.
