Highlight: Hannity’s hard hitting interview with Tom Delay
Published by Mike Stark April 5th, 2006 in Sean HannityHannity: There are those, the critics say, “Well this came just days after your chief of staff pleaded guilty to conspiracy and… promising to cooperate in the Jack Abramoff issue…” How do you respond to that? Because you weren’t ever connected to Abramoff…
Delay: I’m still not. First of all, they don’t know what they are talking about because I made this decision before I even knew that Tony Rudy was going to plead guilty.
Hannity: And hasn’t the Justice Department told your lawyers you’re not a target of any investigation involving Abramoff?
Delay: I am not… That’s exactly right. I have never talked to anybody in the Department of Justice.
Did you catch the misdirection in Delay’s last statement? He might not have spoken to anyone in Justice, but you can bet his lawyers have. In fact, it’s been widely reported that Delay’s office forwarded about 1,000 emails to investigators… (should be noted that Delay does not use email… so the emails were written by, or to, his staff)
anyway… that’s pretty standard fare…
but can you believe the audacity of “I’m still not.”?
We need to come up with a lower standard… The laugh test is much too blunt a tool when measuring deceit this flagrant and obvious.

Well, its typical, its kind of like the entire premise of FOX, the “Fair and Balanced”, they know better but like sticking it to you knowing we all know it aint true. So too with making their own reality, with their own reasoning .Such willing propagandists for all things Bush, I still am not sure of the motivation for this being the unoffical Neo Con netowrk and all (and about the only Cheney and many others will talk to)
Tom Delay, posterchild for Bush corruption.
Like Dean said, they don’t need Delay as a posterboy. They’ve got so many others. Frist, Cunningham, Ney, Rove, Libby, on and on and on.
