stupid girl being Lynn Vincent, co-author with idiot-boy Robert Sacey McCain, of Donkey Cons, a book that says the Republicans are squeaky-clean when compared to Democrats. I was impressed by how little she actually had to say. She didn’t try to defend a single Republican that I named… That’s to her credit, but it doesn’t excuse the book or her attempts to make the greater case.
So I just went brute force… Senate Majority Leader, SEC investigation… House Majority Leader, under indictment with insider trading alleged in his capitol office… Two indicments of high political appointees in the White House… Doolittle, Ney, Conrad Burns… Cunningham… cover-up after cover-up with no investigations… no oversight…

She mentioned something I hadn’t heard about Conyers and some other Dem from Ohio (I think)…

I think this was a good call for a coupla reasons… First, Medved let me make a case. Second, he didn’t flip out when I mentioned the dishonesty involved in selling the snake-oil products advertised on his show - and that is my favorite part of this call… It was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to go meta on the right wing noise machine and suggest that their listeners might be listening to a medium with something less than thier best interests in mind… And since hair care products (Avacore) and herbal treatments are sold on all the talk shows, this was a broad brush attack on one of their pillars…

one of your better calls bc you were actually able to engage in a fairly constructive debate with your host. nice work mike!

at least medved keeps you around and doesn’t bloviate while turning your volume down like some other blowhards we know.

Beautiful call Mike.

You MUST go meta more often. Discuss how wingnut radio is PART of the corruption machine. How they are WORKING for the republican coverup. Everytime you do that it’s profound and powerful, and calls attention to the medium and hopefully wakes up the listeners.

I love your complaint to Medved about the bogus products being advertised on his show. I’m sick of these ads by ripoff artists. However, don’t they run these same types of ads on Air America?

I liked this call for it’s reasoned exchange. Why can’t rightwing radio shows do this more often? Certainly, this is not what you get from Hannity. Maybe because the rightwing nutjob radio personalities with the biggest following don’t want to muddy up the waters of their argument and therefore introducing their followers to three dimensional thinking rather than the black and white of their views?

Mike,I caught your call the other day while driving.One of the best calls I had heard in a long time.You were very articulate.The one thing I like about Medved(I disagree about 80% with the things he says)is that he will actually have a dialogue with callers that oppose him.Hannity is on the same time and I rarely ever listen to that loud mouth.
