Tune in to Alan Colmes’ radio show sometime… it’s better than you think!
Published by Mike Stark April 25th, 2006 in UncategorizedGuy Adams is a key deputy in Alan Keyes’ RenewAmerica.us
Alan Keyes, you might remember, ran for President in 1996 and 2000. He was the Republican nominee for Senator of Maryland in 1988 and 1992.
He takes the long way home, but finally he answers the question: “What should the punishment be for a woman that murders her child?”
You’ll be relieved to know that he takes the death penalty off the table.
[UPDATE] Partial transcript:
Mike: …you believe abortion is murder, correct?
Guy Adams: that’s correct.
Mike: and it doesn’t matter when it happens… it could be third month or fourth month, it doesn’t have to be partial birth abortion for it to be murder, right?
Guy: … it is all murder for the sake of your question…
Mike: What should the penalty be for a mother that murders her child?
…
Alan: …would you give the death penalty to any woman that had an abortion?
Guy: That’s a good question… I’m not going to make up an answer if I don’t know…
Alan: But she should definitely get jail time?
Guy: Yes, I’ll say that?
Alan: Life in prison?
Guy: I don’t know, let’s just say jail time… it’s a terrible crime…

wow, i guess going on a liberal pundit show makes a huge difference, even if it is Colmes. Cause you guys made that guy sound like an ass. I wonder what that same conversation would have been like on Hannity.
Alan obviously knew all about you! Maybe Sean told him.
Gotta love it. You guys really had Mr. Adams cornered.
Great Job!
I enjoy Alan’s radio show. It’s nice to hear an intelligent discussion of the issues.
mike…..
you chased snow out of the biz
thats one down, and many to go…
I wish Tony the best… I have (had?) a standing invitation to have coffee with Tony whenever I was in the DC area…
Hopefully I’ll be able to finagle a day-press pass from him as well - maybe get a question in at the gaggle… it’d be pretty incredible to see the White House…
yeah - I was sorry to see Tony go… but in case you hadn’t noticed, he had stopped taking my calls for the most part.
I had an agreement with the producers to call once a week, but that fell through about 4-6 weeks ago… after that, they wanted me on no more than once a month.
I’m not sure if that was a Fox News Radio directive or what, but it sucked because I enjoyed our conversations.
Man, ‘ol Guy really did not want to answer that question.
Yeah, Tony Snow was probably the least insane of all the radio wingnuts.
The one liberal radio show in Boston’s 96.9 is a girl/guy pair and she, Margerie Eagan, says that all this talk about what you’d do to women if they had an abortion is beside the point.
It’s easy to be anti-abortion when it’s legal. If it were ever illegal again, especially now, and regular women started dying from backyard abortions/homemade remedies THEN you’d hear from the real silent majority.
thats a good call, glad that people know about you mike. Its funny, that everyone knows you after the Olberman incident.
Does anyone remember Alan Keyes when he ran for Senator against Barak Obama (D) after the Republican candidate, Jack Ryan, withdrew when he was outed for making a sex tape?
Well, Alan Keyes was so far out in leftfield even most of the wingnuts distanced themselves from him. However, there was still plenty of support for this nutjob, and it was really spooky. So many people were so willing to step up and guzzle Kool Aid.
