So point being, Mike wasted an hour while the white house staff wasted countless man hours and money working on damage control. Thing is though, everyone wasting their time on this stuff knows it matters at the polls. This political dig about Bush singing the Star-Spangled Banner in Spanish during the 2000 campaign is basically saying to the 32% backwash that, "Hey, if Bush doesn't share your prejudices and bigotry like you thought then what makes you think he has your best interests in mind?"
