Rush and the “culture of corruption”

I was going to tie the fact that the Defense Appropriations Committee and the Intelligence Committee both had a bunch of Republican members - including Porter Goss - that spent time at MZM sponsored poker parties…
(as an aside, any salesman can tell you that when you are looking to sell something, it’s a good idea to lose - at golf, poker, etc… I wonder how much money sat on the table at these poker games and I wonder how much the folks at MZM lost….)
Anyway, I think that the American memory is, regrettably, too short. People are already forgetting that it took four days to get water to people after Katrina struck. I wonder how many of the Congressmen caught up in the Abramoff/MZM scandals have trouble sleeping at night knowing that they haven’t done a damn thing to prepare this country for a devastating disaster….
There are consequences to a government that consists of men planning their next $70,000 golf trip… whose thoughts are occupied with fantasies surrounding how many hookers they will fuck that evening…
Another aside: A friend of mine has an account at Rush Limbaugh.com. Instead of making a donation, she signed up for access to his streams. I was able to watch him through his ditto-cam. After he cut me off, he went to a commercial break. I watched him on the ditto-cam and he came unglued. His eyes went crazy, his arms flew all over the place and he snarled like a stuck boar.
His new screener, after hearing what I wanted to talk about, asked me if I was “Mike from Albany”. Of course, I said “no, I’m Steve from Baltimore.”
They know me - and I don’t think Rush likes me…
Do you think it might have something to do with this? Or this recommended diary over at Kos?

“Democrats…have a culture of treason” ?? Un-fucking believable…the lies and bullshit that oozes from the wingnut assholes.
I agree, the break seemed very sudden (why take a call with only 15 second left before break) and would love to have seen him going ape-shit on the video.

He comes back with an answer to culture of corruption with “culture of treason”, which in effect shows more desperation and lack of any good answer to the charge.
