Leftover Hannity
Published by Mike Stark May 9th, 2006 in UncategorizedThis is from yesterday…
Hannity’s favorite motivator for the mouth-breathing nose-pickers - the 31% dead-enders - is that if the Democrats take over, there will be (pause for effect) investigations of the administration!
OH MY GOD!!
Well, I’ve got a question for the nose-picking crowd…
If the President’s biggest problem is getting his message out, wouldn’t you be happy to have some investigations? Where better to air out all the wonderful things the President has done to make this country prosperous and secure? Sheesh… you’d surely make the democrats look like a bunch of dweebs, huh?
I tried to segue into another topic that I don’t want people to forget. The only difference between Katrina and a large scale terror attack (say a small pox release) is that with katrina we had at least 10 days of warning. Sean likes to say that the President has done a great job and is supremely competent, but they couldn’t even organize air drops of fresh water to the thirsty and stranded - four days after Katrina passed over NOLA. God help us if there is another terror attack on this president’s watch.
And I like the way Sean always blames the Mayor. Katrina took out 3 STATES. And that’s not counting the damage done inland. Sean thinks a Mayor has the resources to handle a disaster of that magnitude.
The mere fact that he has an audience is proof that 31% of Americans eat their boogers.

Mike–
I like to think the Limbaugh–Hannity–O’Reilly–Coulter crowd has long ago realized they have hitched their wagon to a dullard–and everything he does makes them look dumb, too. Every single thing the guy has done has been wrong–every decision and every action–wrong. They have to realize how absurd they sound trying to do this clown’s bidding for him. Can you imagine saying with a straight face to any rational person anything this administration has done has made any part of our country better? With dinks like Rove and Cheney giving him advice what can he expect?
nice work Mike , you had him not even making bad conman sense . THX .
Hannity’s biggest worry if the dems get in (and he’s saying this a lot these days) is that The Fairness Doctrine will be implemented once again. Dumping the Fairness Doctrine was the birth of Limbaugh, Hannity and all the rest. Dropping the doctrine was the license to lie that they needed and they use to this day.
Mike,
Thanks for listening to this blowhard hannity so we dont have to.
I love it — Hannity ends this clip by listing all of the investigations that the Dem-controlled Congress would conduct, talking AS IF THESE INVESTIGATIONS ARE A BAD THING! This totally plays into Mike’s point about why are they so scared about the Dems taking over — because they will expose corruption in our government!
It appears that another one of Hannity’s new fear tactics is trying to remind people that, if Dems get a House majority, Rep. Conyers would have a committee leadership position. Someone should ask Sean what Conyers did that was so bad when, from 1989 to 1994, he was chair of the Government Operations Committee. From what I recall, the world did not end.
i need to suggest that you prepare better for hannity. have your arguments and his counter written down so that you can be ready. this guy is a pro. i don’t like him but he’s good at what he does and the immediate counter with the democratic mayor and governor is a very common one. i’m sure every conservative listening to that convo immediately thought hannity’s views outshined in that convo. in short i think you only helped him with that one. it’s not your fault cause that’s what he’s getting the big $$ for. but just do yourself a favor and better prepare for him cause it seems like your just winging it. it’s like you make such an effort to get on and past the screeners but your actual points aren’t sound.
i was struck by hannity complaining that the democrats would investigate how pre-war intelligence was used in the iraq invasion. the republicans are supposed to be investigating that now. they agreed to over two years ago, but its been stonewalled ever since. this was phase 2 of Senate Report on Iraqi WMD Intelligence.
you made a good point about katrina, in that FEMA is part of homeland security. another thing you could’ve included in this argument is that bush has continued to disregard the 911 commission’s recommendations, and they gave him a “report card” which the administration failed in lots of areas. truly, he just doesnt care about national security, and thats supposed to be the strength of the republicans.
