Craig, I know.

It's like, "wow, I didn't know I looked that young and naive. Must be that new moisturizer."

"You folks"... advice from someone who sounds like he is neither progressive nor a Democrat.

Reminds me of Bill Kristol talking on Fox News Sunday where he was giving Democrats "advice" on how to win in 2006:

"If Democrats come out completely against this war, they will certainly lose." (Not an exact quote, but his statement was something to this effect.) Really? So as a neo-conservative who has no interest in seeing the Democrats obtain majority status, your recommendation to the Democrats is to campaign on a platform of being 100% in support of the Iraq war? What great advice!

"Quasi-conservative", is that what you're calling ol' Joe?

I'm sure he'd be highly flattered.

If you want a quasi-conservative, there's always 2/3s of the current Republican leadership to choose from.

Give me a Democrat who's proud to be a Democrat-conservative, moderate or liberal.

Holy Joe is reaping as he has sown. The thistles in his knickers are grown by his own hand.

How exactly does Ned Lamont benefit the Democratic Party more than Joe Lieberman? Or the state of Connecticuit for that matter? You folks need more quasi-conservative members if you want to gain a majority. That doesn't mean pro-war, but you do need a broader spectrum of politicians to amass a broader spectrum of supporters. Joe votes with the Dems on the big issues; it's unwise to get so caught up in Liberal fervor that you ignore political "strategery."
