Of course I asked him!
And of course he blew it off… but hell, I promised y’all that I’d start calling them liars, racists and chickenhawks… Now you can include “sex tourists” in the mix also…
Finally, it’s time to do that thing I don’t like to do again.

Wow, so you lied to get on the air — Yes, Mark Twain used a “pen name” but he didn’t lie about his true identity, and in any case, you are no Mark Twain — and then shot out a rhetorical question. That really takes a “brass set.” No, it takes no set at all, Viagra-enhanced or not. All it takes is a telephone and the free time from having no job and a willingness to count your life as having meaning when the same four people post on your blog. An interesting question for next time. Someone commented over at Dkos that methadone is a step-down drug used to help get folks off of opiates. One side effect of methadone is impotence. Could be that the little blue fellas are part of his regular treatment regimen. Could that be why he’s taking the Viagra? Also, where can I find a doctor to prescribe Dominican prostitutes?
Funny part is Mark, your great accomplishment for the day was to troll some site that you yourself consider insignificant.

One person actively works towards something he considers important, this is wasted effort.
Other person stumbles upon a Web site, posts some inane and ignorant (not a shot but an assesment, your post is ignorant: Mark Twain-huh??!? Did you think the caller was not forced to lie? The question was not rhetorical, go look ‘er up) comment and he is the lynch pin keeping our society running. That how it works?

Yes, I agree that post was rude and brought up your family, but “hate speech”? You seem to have a LOT of hatred here for the people you disagree with. Why not reign in some of your own side? Maybe you do, but I sure don’t see it. It harms your ability to presuade.

And by the way, my post was no more “hate speech” than anything on here and far less than most. It commented on a post that you had deleted, so I can see that it didn’t relate, but it also pointed out that YOU cannot take the same open-fire shots you give to others. How is you callng up and calling hosts names okay, but others can’t post here without you stopping them. You have a huge advantage, and if you’re going to take comments about “huge brass ones” as a compliment, don’t be surprised when people delve into the gutter.

get the heck out of here with that bull. i’ve every conservative blog i’ve tried to post on has rejected my comments. even if i’ve got a comment or two by they’ve been deleted. it’s interesting how conservatives can criticize liberals for censoring when i have yet to see one conservative blog that doesn’t censor and attack their opponents. Rush shouts calls names and everything under the sun. yet you accuse mike of deleting a few comments, even though i clearly see 2 of your disagreeing comments. tell you what. find 1 john x comment on 1 single conservative blog. you will see them on any given day on a liberal blog. why? who censors?
Ah, the “Conservatives do it so that makes it okay” defense. No, no, Rush does put callers who honestly disagree with him on the air. Mike knows because he listens and he’s honest about that. He just wants to call more than the every two months, to be a regular guest, which Rush will not do. Fine, he was honest with HR and it’s out in the open. It was like the scene between DeNiro and Pacino, “You’re gonna do what you’re gonna do, and I’m gonna do what I have to do” to catch you. It’s my experience that everyone on every blog likes to scream at anyone who posts there with a differing point of view, with vile vitrol they would not say in person. Why not try for a higher standard?

You have to lie to get on Rush’s show. He usually doesn’t handle opposition this well (sorry Mike). He screens out anyone representing himself honestly because the few that get through are so embarrassing.
Since my last missive was deleted and Mike obviously can’t really stand the heat afterall, Rush Limbaugh took Viagra to the Dominican Republic to pound one thing or the other, boys or girls.
Too tough for you, Mike, here’s the deal; I’m a conservative — and hence tough — and you, Mike, are a liberal, and hence not tough at all, in any way.

In an attempt to get back on point, something many conservatives have a difficult time doing, I’ll discuss your call. I thought you did an excellent job equating the overbearing government of China, with the actions of the Bush administration. The last part of the call where you slipped in the D.R. reference was hysterical. With his hearing problem, I’m not sure Rush really caught that part though.
As far as tolerance of other posters views, I can only speak from my own experience. For 6 or 7 months I periodically visited and posted on the Hannity message board. As you can imagine , the site is overwhelming dominated by “conservative” posters. Some are quite intelligent, and many others just repeat the talking points they hear from Rush and Sean etc. Someone posted what a fine talk show host Andrew Wilkow was. I posted that they could listen to an “interesting” call that he took , and then I posted a link to this site, and Mike’s petri dish call. (If you haven’t heard it, do a site search and listen to it, what a melt down by the host) Anyway, a few weeks later when I attempted to log into the Hannity message board, I received a message that I was banned. I searched back through the moderator threads, and found I was banned for linking to a “HANNITY HATE SITE”. Again the call I linked to had nothing to do with Hannity. Also, although Mike disagrees with Hannity on many points, I don’t know if he hates him. In fact I have heard Mike praise Sean for being one of the few hosts to let him on the air repeatedly, without him having to make up a new name and city. I’ll also say that in my time on the website I was well behaved to those that I disagreed with, and attempted to prove my points politely, and with links to my documentation. So much for the tolerance of a conservative website.
i think you should avoid censorship whenever possible. whenever i see threads like this on blogs, it just makes me wonder what was censored. that said, i really doubt the comment(s) were censored because of differing political beliefs. i see conservatives posting here fairly often (though they dont tend to stay long enough for a real debate). “mike is a girly man” is not a political belief. if it was my blog, which its not, i would only censor when it really becomes a problem, when the personal attacks (or whatever) dominate a thread.

you honestly dont think rush censors just about every call he lets on the air? peoples’ mics are quieted or silenced, often in quite dishonest ways. mike lets conservatives comment, but he seems to reserve the right to do something similar. that is, he can use his postion of power to control discussions in a way to his liking. i would hope he doesnt abuse that power, but clearly nearly every single talk radio show does, so bringing up rush isnt gonna help your argument in the slightest. i cant defend mike more than that, because only he knows the extent to which he censors.
and fronkensteen, notice that in all of your comments youve attempted to reserve the right to state conservative political beliefs, but you havent mentioned one. have these been censored, or do you care more about trolling than about any substantive issues?

I remember the rise of hate radio in America. It was a “r u s h” and it did the job of propaganda, hours upon hours drilled into tired commuters. Rush speaks for the conservative movement, he is the equivalent of their soul. He and it are slowly becoming a laughing stock. A sad kind of laughing stock, with the punch line of corruption.
