Watch an excerpt of the Lieberman/Lamont debate on hotair.com…. Err, that’s a biased source and the video is cut out to be preferable to Joe but….you people need to groom that little pansy Lamont. I’m telling you, he’s NOT going to win.
Fine, stand on your own principles, but for Satan’s sake, put up a guy who has a fucking foundation. You do know his past voting history compared to Lieberman, right? You do know who he’s given money to in the past right? You do know he’s a sniveling, mealy-mouthed, flip-flopper that’s going to embarrass the liberals all over again. Wonderful waves of scum will wash over you like bathing in a Port-A-Potty. Again! Hooray, self-loathing and martyrdom time!! You’ll get to play victims, poor minority party victims, once again. Loop de loop.
Get your act together! You need more Democratic LEADERS not more Democratic FOLLOWERS. Lamont is a puppet. He has backers but he has no spine. Lieberman has bonafide liberal backers and a spine; he believes what he says and has convictions that bear out in his presentation.
Here’s a visual. Imagine, if you will, a party who forces all of it’s members to vote one way. You could call them unified. I prefer to call them North Korea. You can piss and moan all you want, and launch some of those dinky little erector sets you got, but everyone will LAUGH AT YOU if you prematurely ejaculate as soon as you launch.
The party core has to have core principles which has to be based around a core of facts and truths. All the fringes, gimcracks, and nikelodeons of emotionally-driven opinion can’t distract people forever. If you want a anti-war Democrat to run against Lieberman, send up an anti-war Democrat, not a pretender. Back this filthy Lamont character at your own peril, the truth is not in him.

Why would Buckley give Lieberman a butt pack? Shouldn’t Buckley be saving his butt packs for Republicans? Not that there is anything wrong with that.
