Hannity and I chat about his BFF
Published by Mike Stark July 7th, 2006 in Sean HannityI think he knew he had to bail before I popped the real question: why wasn’t he holding Joe Lieberman to his pledge of appearing on the Sean Hannity Show once a month? It’s been since February!
Anyway, Sean did the smart thing and kept my mic muted while he filibustered… and then ignored a the key question we need to raise every time we are challenged about demanding ideological purity on the war…
Only eighteen Democratic Senators voted for Kerry’s fixed deadline legislation. But only one Senator is being primaried. Why did we choose Lieberman, the liberal, instead of more a more conservative Senator like Ben Nelson?
At that point, the answer is clear. Lieberman is the only Denator in all of Congress that is violating Ronald Reagan’s Eleventh commandment: Thou shall speak no ill of your party.

Mike,
Never had a problem with your audio before but this one is playing at (what sounds like) double speed. “Chipmunk” sound. Could be on my end but, like I said, never had this problem before.
thanks KY (I won’t ask, but I hope it’s Kentucky)…
I think I’ve fixed it.
If you are from KY, where about? I was in the Marines with a guy from Hopkinsville… Rod Keller - one of the most fun guys I hung with the whole time I was in…
Ha ha…yes it’s Kentucky. I’m in the Louisville area. Around here we call Hopkinsville “Hop Town”. Not sure why.
I think the only reason these guys love Lieberman is because he shiats all over Dems. That’s why they loved Zell Miller. They love it because it ’shows’ that the Dem Party as a whole is anti-american and some of its ranks can’t stand it anymore and must defect. And for some reason ($?) Lieberman and Miller get all huggy with these Republican pundits. I can’t make sense of it. What’s the motivation for Liberman and Miller to do this?
zell miller might just be insane. i dont know too much about him, but having seen a speech or two, theres gotta be something wrong.
They don’t go after Nelson because, frankly, his act plays pretty well in Nebraska. Yes, he’s a pretty conservative democrat, but I think they’d rather stay with him than try and knock him off with a more liberal Dem that might get crushed in the general election. In Connecticut they feel like they’ve got more of a chance of taking the seat with a liberal Dem.
Zack,
What’s your theory about feinstein? Hillary? schumer? the other 25 that didn’t vote for Kerry’s “get out soon” amendment? There are a lot of Senators from deep blue states that are still afraid to do the right thing where Iraq is concerned… if it was just the war, you’d be seeing a lot more “liberal bloggers” going after a lot more incumbent democrats…
