Published by Mike Stark July 24th, 2006 in UncategorizedSo I tuned into (and called into) Sean Hannity’s show today. He led his show with a complaint about those evil libs with their fake credentials that are there to make conservatives look bad…
Well, he left himself an out. He can blame whoever told him for being wrong about my creds being faked. They were as real and legit as they get. Otherwise, well, I’m pretty certain that Six Flags could have had me prosecuted for theft of services or fraud or something like that.
Nope - I got my creds without telling a single lie. I told them I was a blogger. That my name was Mike Stark. And that I wanted to videotape the event, interview participants and post the results to my blog.
Tomorrow afternoon I should have the whole story for you in video form… it’ll be preliminary work product - but it should give you an idea of what these chickenshits are like.

Hey hannity… you’re losing it. I hope you are reading this. Do you ever think that you are supporting the wrong people? If you don’t ever think that then you are an ignorant waste of Freedom.
The reason Hannity would not let Mike talk is because he knew mike was going to expose his hypocrisy. It sounded like all of the wingnuts up there on that stage were “politicizing” that concert. Hannity has to use techniques like cutting off his callers, shouting over them, and cutting their mics because he doesn’t have the truth on his side.
Hey hannity, what do you have to hide? Why not let Mike have his say? It’s funny, you calling sick the very things that you do and advocate. You must have a tremendous degree of cognitive dissonance when you look in the mirror.

Hannity def is being a tad disingenuous when he knocks Mike for trying to politicize an event, while Hannity himself does talk politics at said event.
However, Mike is not an angel either.
He has not, as of yet at least, told us why he was kicked out for. If he had real and legit creds, and had not caused a disruption, then why was he kicked out? The simplest explanation, right now, is that the creds were in fact not valid. Obviously, the simplest explanation may not be the correct one and hopefully Mike will enlighten us to what really happened.
Finally, Mike gets mad that Hannity does not let him talk much on the show, yet Mike is very restrictive about comments posted on the site. Blocks a fair # of them, and everyone on this site seems to hate those who do not toe the company line. So to me that is a bit of hypocrisy there.
Laugh. Hannity is silly. I listen to his show just for the giggles.
His “Freedom Concert” was born as a political statement from the git go. It was a challenge to anyone “left” of his belief system to show up there so he could then use it for his “routine”. I just rolled my eyes to heaven every time he mentioned that concert on his show. Hannity uses dead soldiers to promote himself and to say that half of America doesn’t appreaciate the sacrifice of our military.
Hannity is bad for America. Hannity promotes divisiveness, turmoil and chaos. It pays his mortgage folks - his message especially sells to those folks who need someone to tell them how to think. His handlers have got to know his demographic base is weak minded and Hannity’s ego is large and fragile. I am sure they carefully massage the ego so he can present “the message.” He is being used.
I find Hannity a sad human being. I feel sorry for him. He was either the class bully or the kid who always got the snot knocked out of him in school. Now he is having a really good time being the popular guy with the currently “in” crowd. I believe he has never emotionally grown up IMHO. His emotional IQ has got to be in the single digits.

Yes, I would hate for someone to politicize an event like Seans. He surely was there only to raise money for the troops families and not bashing the left with lies and distortions. I’m new to reading your site but this particular Hannity clip is choice. I like the method of contrasting their own comments against themselves, someone on the wacky radical left need not even utter a comment to make the point. Franken does this on his show here and there but I think it’s effective so keep up the good work.
Interesting that Hannity asks for a liberal in the audience to come on stage with him. He obviously knew you were roaming the crowd before getting the boot. So why didn’t he take the opportunity to just invite you up there from the git go? I mean if he has right and truth on his side it should have been pretty easy to get you leave under your own power rather than by a jack-booted thug. Oh god…I listened to Hannity’s show yesterday while waiting in line (for 45min!) for a commericial deposit. Before he took your call, he and batshit commentator David Horowitz doubled-up on Rolling Stone’s Robert Dreyfuss.
They didn’t allow him to get a word in edgewise, and accused him of being a Hezbollah sympathizer that supported this “second Holocaust.”
The big talking point with these nutbags is the Hitler comparison. Horowitz said something to the effect of: “Right now, they’re killing Jews, next it’ll be Christians, then the atheists and The Nation people…” *paraphrased…totally paraphrased*

I have read from folks questioning the money that was donated for you to attend the “freedonm Concert” I have not seen any mechinism for disbursment of the funds that Hasnnity has collected for the children of deceased soldiers. Is there a scolar ship at Meim Kemph University? How does one gain access to these funds? What is the critera to obtain funds besides being the dependent of a deceased soldier? You answere the questions presented to you. If a fund does exsist, how can I help my clients access this resource?

I’d sure like to see an independent audit done after these stupid Freedon Concerts rake in the moolah. After “expenses” (I’m sure Coulter and Hannity traveled first class), how much will be left? Rick in the Red State raises an important question: this might be a actionable event. Does Hannity have the balls to submit to an independent audit? Or would that just be another example of America-hating liberals spitting on soldiers?

Mike, this dispersement of funds I think is a real story that the media needs to address….if in fact this alliance is holding back money to fund Hannity’s jet and meal expenses, Coulter’s expenses and the “talent”, then yes, an audit is warranted…..I am sure MSNBC would love this, especially Olbermann, who by the way was outstanding on the Leno show last night, got a lot of laughs with the O’Reilly mask bit……back to the original subject though, you really need to shop this story around….and let us know how much it will cost you to go to San Diego next Wednesday, I just might help with that….take care………

Strikes me as kinda strange. First of all, they received a rating od “2 Stars”, which according to their scale, means “Needs Improvement : Meets or nearly meets industry standards but underperforms most charities in its Cause.”
What’s more alarming is the fact that it’s Revenues increased by 32.5%, yet its Program Expenses (the things it claims to provide children of fallen soldiers……i.e. scholarships) only increased by 6.2%. This is NOT good.
Regardless of which side of the political fence one sits, the Freedom Alliance is taking a lot money from people and dispensing a very small portion of it on that which it claims is its cause.
Hannity and the rest of the clan need to be called out on this.
Send this information to COUNTDOWN on MSNBC….I am sure Olbermann would relish at a story which attempts to take down Hannity, Ollie North, Coulter and the lot…..send it, I highly recommend it…..Olby will be back from vacation next week, and it would be a great story for his return.

I have listened to him for 6 months … I am 26 .. independent ..and like hearing both sides of all issues…. and I can’t believe more ppl haven’t called Sean out about this:
You know how he loves cutting the mike on callers or guests right? (stopping the “free speech” he’s so into right?)
Well I am a GREAT listener and I have HEARD Sean get a conservative caller who’s polite and agrees with sean and makes a point…. and I hear Sean cut the caller’s mike!! That’s not the worst part…
Then Sean doesn’t acknowledge the caller’s point, but goes into a long monotone, boring, “I just think …. I believe…. I know..”
His point in doing this part is to make it CLEAR that HE’S already made that point and rehashes all 13 reasons…
while the caller is sitting there unable to be heard and DOESNT seem to know it….!! Because 8 times out of 10, when Sean finally shuts up and gets BACK to the caller,
I HEAR Sean turn the caller’s mike BACK on.. and it’s creepy now because the caller is usually in the middle of a sentence already and you can TELL the caller has been talking a while..and did NOT know his mic was cut!!!
This is where it gets really creepy…. and shows Sean Truly believes his audience is STUPID.
After Sean’s rant, and the caller has his mike on again, Sean Says all innocently:
“You there? Are you there?”
WTF:??? Does he not KNOW we have ears and can TELL when extra background noise gets CUT off or Turned ON???
Does Sean think his audience doesn’t notice the poor fool of a caller IS IN THE MIDDLE of some long opinion as sean pretends to wonder why the caller is “quiet” by saying “you there?” knowing full well the guy’s been on mute so sean could rant??

As soon as I got to work the next day, and it hit 2:00, I KNEW he’d only play certain parts of my call and I couldn’t WAIT for him to fail the test miserably!!! and he did just that at 2:30……

yes… the ones where I said I WAS A REPUBLICAN WHO HATED HIM, even though I agreed with him sometimes!
He also BEEPED out the sentence where I called his audience stupid for not picking up the insulting patronizing “you’re a great American” bull… !! He made it sound like that whole sentence was ONLY Curse words… when in reality that was a FULL and complete logical sentence……

The Fact that he deleted what he thought was my party affiliation, Republican, and that I STILL hated him, well…. that was all the proof I needed. He CANNOT have his audience hear an intelligent sounding person who is “Republican” admit his/her hate for Hannity. even though I SAID I agreed with him and STILL hated him…… he wouldn’t HAVE IT!

Her baby boy was killed in a war that began due to FALSE DOCUMENTS, INCORRECT Intelligence, a war started by a Grown 60 yr. old man, our President, who can’t even Pronounce the word NUCLEAR, let alone give an intelligent speech or run a country without having approval ratings EQUAL to Richard Nixon, the biggest example of what Republicans really are.

I too am a Republican….and an African American woman, who, for the last 4 months have been listening to Sean Hannity on the radio during my commute time home, and, quite frankly, I finally got tired of it and just turned it off. I have never in my life heard such unintelligent, childish, divisive, hateful speech, that really makes this GOP look even worse than it does now. I am not sold on any of the democratic presidential candidates, but everyday I repeatedly hear him shovel the same dirt (and incorrectly, I might add) saying that its the “Democrats who accuse our brave men and women of air-raiding villages and terrorizing women and children”…….I had a chance to read and listen to the entire comments made by Senator Obama and what he actually said was that “We’ve got to get the job done in Afghanistan and also rebuild there…we have to do more than JUST (emphasis mine) air-raid villages”. Now, that wasn’t an attack on the soldiers in Afghanistan who were clearly carrying out the orders given them by their commanders and the “commander in chief”. And, for the record, the president of Afghanistan formally protested to the United States of the rise in civillian casualties as it related to the air-raids…..we simply don’t have enough troops on the ground seeking out Al-Quaeda and Osama Bin Laden because they’re all in Iraq. It seems to me that Obama was simply pointing out the obvious and Mr. Hannity, the journalist that he isn’t, misrepresented and continues to misrepresent him and others.
If you’re going to have an intelligent discussion about politics, let’s at least start with facts. Sean isn’t winning any points for the Republican party, but, instead is part of the problem that continues to polarize and divide this so-called United States. It is clear that Mr. Hannity is not up to the job, however, he seems to have a great audience of people who are like minded and hide their bigotry and ignorance under the banner of patriotism and being a “Great American”.
Oh, and one more thing……most military people know that those who are serving in combat are very well taken care of by the military in the event they die in combat. I recently spoke with a friend of mine (a military spouse who works civil service as a paralegal for the Staff Judge Advocate and knows her STUFF about all of this) and she ran it down to me as to exactly how the military makes sure that the families are taken care of. Mr. Hannity’s posturing with these “scholarships” for children of deceased soldiers is an insult and is nothing more than a cheap ploy to keep himself out there. Shame on you, Sean…..not such a great American.
