Senator Dorgan good, Joe Lieberman bad
Published by Mike Stark July 26th, 2006 in Jim BohannonSenator Dorgan was just on the Jim Bohannon Show to talk about his new book, Take This Job and Ship It, which decries unfair trade practices that have enriched CEOs and shareholders, but have left the American worker with empty pockets.
I was able to ask him a coupla questions. Tellingly, he didn’t do squat to defend our pal Joe Lieberman.
Ha ha.

As you might remember Mike, I think outsourcing/globalization should be *the* issue for Democrats. Almost everybody supports bringing jobs back to our country, so I don’t understand why Dems don’t capitalize on this frusteration.
Check out HR 1498… This bill would take action against countries that manipulate their currency to gain an unfair trade advantage (India, China, Mexico, etc.) It has enough Repub support that if all the Dems got behind it, it’d pass. Unbelievable.
Good call. Nice to hear someone with a genuine interest in helping the US on the radio as opposed to the EIB nitwits.
Stark–
Love you man! Great that you got Dorgan on the record, even if just a little bit.
