More bad news, good news
Published by Mike Stark August 1st, 2006 in UncategorizedBad news first: it looks like things have receded on the television front. I had rec’d a call-back last week telling me that they’d be interested this week, but this week has come and I got another message from them expressing regret that things didn’t work out this time…
But there’s good news too…
We’re YouTubed…
Crooks & Liars digs us…
And best of all, tomorrow is Hannity’s Freedom Concert in San Diego. We’ll be trying again…
In the morning, I’ll be on KLSD-AM in San Diego - kind of welcoming Sean and his motley crew to town.
Today will be a travel day, so it might be hard for me to post.

In the video, are you the big guy in the white shirt?
Yup - with a dark blue collar.
“Freedom” concert? Bwahahahaha! I thought Hannity had the balls to face you on the air, why’s he pussing out and lying in real life?
P.S. Sean Mannatee- Franken would never kick out a conservative newsgroup from a liberal event. Are you wimpier than him? … yeah, apparently.
Mike -
That’s too bad. I was afraid that the Mel Gibson story would suck up any spare time for this story on KO. But hey, there’s always next time!
Yes, the San Diego concert should be interesting, but Mike, do do one thing for sure….get the media out there to push the need for a full investigation of this Freedom Alliance charity, where is the money going, really???.
I like you got emails out to MSNBC, and of course, I am bugging the heck out of the Fox & Friends website….I don’t expect any responses from them, but I think they know I am not going away…..I will continue to help in any way I can, because I do think your cause is a good one, long overdue….
Enjoy SD, and if you get to talk to Hannity, tell him for me RuthChris Steakhouse SUCKS!!!!!
Take care…..
Before I read all this info on the Freedom Alliance I had the following idea. Now I’m not so sure it’s a good idea but I’ll put it out to the group.
Next year when the Freedom Concerts roll around, how about we line up a few thousand liberals to buy tickets and do one of two things:
1. No one shows up, leaving a bunch of empty seats.
2. Show up and give back verbally a little of what we get. Heckling Sean would be fun and maybe force a little debate at the same time.
Again, before finding out that FA uses 76% of it money for “expenses”, I figured we would also be helping out a good cause.
Let me know what you all think.
Shouldn’t you be prepping for law school soon?
Nice! Welcome to San Diego, Mike, the weather’s fine! The Stacy Taylor crew on KLSD are good guys, & I’ll make sure to tune in!
You’re a better man than me, Mike. I couldn’t last 10 minutes around that many regressives without blowing my cover.
