It was the African American Republican Leadershp Council that I was thinking of. Norquist, Weyrich, Bauer, Hannity. There are probably a few black people on there, but none that I’ve heard of. (I’d be surprised if Kenneth Timmerman, for axample is one of them.)

I followed this group for awhile. You’ll note that their present website (easily Googled) doesn list any prominent members. This is probably because about half the directors resigned after Katrina. Link

When I looked the group up 3-4 years ago, the board of directors was about 1/3 white (including Grover Norquist. I think) and a lot of the offices were vacant. I believe ex-Sen. Brooke was on the board at the age of 80 . The site went for months without an update, with the offices vacant the whole time.
