Why do the College Republicans hate the troops?
Published by Mike Stark March 3rd, 2007 in UncategorizedI stopped by their booth at CPAC’s exhibit hall and asked if they’d help me convince the Directors of CPAC to bring in military recruiters…
She wouldn’t stand up for the troops.

dude, dont you find it rather funny that you and spocko are the most feared bloggers in the blogosphere?
it really is sad when these same people can just sit there and not comment when one of their own uses a perjorative to describe a presidential candidate, but totally freak out at a pitcure of a blogger with one of their goddesses
btw…did you ask any of the college repugs (who are all of military age)when they would be signing up to defend our country in iraq?
wait until you see how I punked them. next post - and you’ll love it…
You punked the lgf so bad their blog went down:

heh…
“She wouldn’t stand up for the troops.”
No. She didn’t want to talk to a jerk.
My God…The Yellow Elephant angle frightens the shit out of them. I have not seen one coherent response to the arguement that if this is our “Greatest Generation” moment and our very way of life is threatened, why aren’t they strapping on the armor and picking up a gun? Frightened…
Yes, effluent…such a jerk for taking them to task for their POV. So awful. Heaven forbid one’s political stances be questioned!!!
HEAVEN FORBID, LORD!!!
Mike, you’ve got the biggest cojones I’ve ever seen. Walking into the belly of the beast and actually confronting these self-satisfied idealogues about their hypocrisy . . . well, it’s priceless. The college boy willing to give up his life for his country but not really actually in real life give up his life? It’s a classic moment right out of the 60s YAF pinheads at my college. “Dude, if you’re so big on this war, where’s your uniform?”
The right has it’s talking points and over time they come up to responses to challenges that they spread through their blogs and talk radio. This one is unique because they have not been able to come up with a response, even a stalling tactic kind of response, in all of the years this war has been going on. The reason for that is there are only two choices:
1. They know they are lying about this war being the greatest test of a generation in a generation.
2. They are cowards.
It really is one or the other and they can’t do either so they merely avoid the question. You are right Mike silence does speak volumes.
TomMil:
Actually, both answers are correct. They are lying and they are cowards.
I was only brave enough to enlist in the USAF back in 1968 (because I thought I stood a better chance of staying alive than if I was drafted–I was correct in that thinking). These piss yellow scumbags are intellectually bankrupt in their philosophizing and morally repugnant in their attacks on others who are honest about the war in Iraq.
