Maybe it’s me…

I called Drudge tonight…  It was my first time calling him and served as a kind of warm-up.  I’ve got lots of things I’d like to ask him…

Anyway, tonight was the night of the debates, so we talked about them - and agreed with each other.  Hillary showed a presence I hadn’t seen before…  it scared me, because she scares me.  Not only would we be looking at Bush-Bush-Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-Clinton (at least 32 consecutive years with a Bush or a Clinton in the White House), but more importantly, she’s a corporate tool that’s more interested in making kissy-face with conservatives than she is in guiding this country where it needs to go.

The thing that probably pissed me off more than anything else is her casual dismissal of war critics both before and for years after she made her pro-war vote.  Even today, she refuses to say it was a mistake.  That kind of obstinance is exactly what we see on a day-in, day-out basis from the current occupant of the White House.

Now, I know that’s a low blow.  I probably shouldn’t have gone there.  But nonetheless, the facts speak for themselves.

One more thing about Hillary…  When’s the last time you heard her give a full-throated defense of American values and launch a suitably aggressive attack on those that have diminished habeas?  countenanced torture? started an unnecessary war based on lies?  governed criminally???

I’m remionded of the old maxim:  “For evil to triumph, all that is required is for good men to stand by silently.”

At best, Hillary is a good person standing by silently.  But I’m not so sure she’s just not a bad person.

You should have seen her (and the rest of them) the following night, something stupid about the candidate’s faith. Yes, I am perhaps biased in this issue for I believe religion to be an epidemic cop-out to avoid the fear of death, but anyway, I could tell immediately that she was lying through her teeth. She was so uncomfortable in attempting to answer the “so when do you pray” questions it was laughable. She lies very badly, very badly indeed. I would rather a goddamned candidate just stood up and said “NO! I don’t believe in god, now live with it and listen to the positive ideas that I have to move this country back on track.”

Hillary IS scary because she is a political tool of the worst kind. She wants to be assertive, she HAS something to prove, and as the first woman of the White House she scares the bejezus out of me too. She *might* try to outdo Chimpy, who tried to outdo his Daddy, and while Hillary is trying to outdo her husband, Chimpy, and Chimpy’s Daddy, she might even somehow push the record of Chimpy upwards if she hs ambitions like that dipshit had in Iraq *or* if someone with “foreign policy” experience tells her she needs to bomb or retaliate militarily. Would she let her 4 years pass without military actions being conducted offensively and unilaterally by the U.S.? I can’t predict that. I wonder though why she blames the President for the war and not herself for voting for it.

What are this womans ambitions other than insuring the status quo? What are her ambitions in ending the war and *also* stating it’s a treasonable crime of aggression instead of saying it is being “conducted wrongly”. Anyone can say they will “end it” but a person of character expounds not only on a mistake they made in voting for it but the mistake made in lying a nation into starting it.
