Highlight Reel
Published by Mike Stark July 22nd, 2007 in Uncategorized- Broke the John McCain story that resulted in him having to go for a stroll through a Baghdad market - accompanied by helicoptors and hundreds of troops. This story moved from me, to RawStory to CNN to the nation’s consciousness. The simple fact is that nobody pays attention to Bennett’s morning show. I do. This was my catch and may have resulted in the final nail being put in the coffin of McCain’s electoral dreams.

- Going After Fox News Hosts
- John Gibson
- Michelle Malkin
- Bill O’Rielly - each of these made it to cable news and created a “blog swarm”.
- Oliver North
- Briane Kilmeade
- Sean Hannity (must watch the video - that’s me with the sign)
- Rush Limbaugh
- I ask him about sex tourism in Dominican Republic after he returned from the noted sexual tourist destination and was busted with Viagra at the airport
- Bust him on Viagra a bit more
- He bugs out on somebody that he thinks is me; makes himself look ridiculous
- Politicians
- Newt Gingrich - I ask him about bringing up divorce with his wife at the hospital while she was rec’ing chemo
- Tom Tancredo - I ask him what the bigger problem is - immigration, or politicians that will say anything to get elected (like him running on term limits)
- Joe Lieberman on Sean Hannity - this went viral in the primary season
- George Allen
- After macaca, why didn’t anyone ask him about his love affair with the Confederate Flag? The noose he kept in his office? what other racial slurs he’s used? When it was clear that the media wasn’t going to do their job, I became the media I wanted.
- When they refused to ask what he was arrested for or follow up the spousal abuse rumors with the vigor they found within themselves when they reported on a blue dress a few years ago… well, I did their job for them again. This time, I paid a price in loss of face (it’s embarrassing being thrown to the ground by a 50 year old man). But in the end, considering this happened a week before the election… well, all I need to say is that no price was too high to pay for the results we got.
