All of it is pretty funny, but what really raised my eyebrows was O’Reilly’s readiness to jump into bed with Mark Foley. He seems to be saying that because Lane Hudson blew the whistle on Mark Foley, well, the fact that he’s now doing the same to O’Reilly automatically discredits the substance of the complaint…
That would make sense if Mark Foley’s accountability moment was undeserved or the product of some kind of “dirty trick”.
Anyway, BillO. climbs right into the victim’s bed with Mr. Foley.
One thing Bill is right about though is that Lane Hudson is a really mean and nasty guy. You should see him. And he’s really good at what he does. His oppo work has made him a very, very wealthy man.
Before I sign off, I thought I’d leave you with a little tid-bit from the court filings in BillO’s sex harassment case. It really demonstrates what an innocent and unfairly maligned guy Mr. O. is…

If you cross Fox News Channel, it’s not just me - it’s Roger Ailes who will go after you. I’m the street guy out front making loud noises about the issues, but Ailes operates behind the scenes, strategizes and makes things happen so that one day BAM! The person gets what’s coming to them but never sees it coming. Look at Al Franken, one day he’s going to get a knock on his door and life as he’s known it will change forever. That day will happen, trust me.
This man is still employed by the Fox News Channel. I have noticed, however, that all of his producers now seem to be men.

While it would take a book as thick as ‘War & Peace’ to log all of BillO’s foibles, I like where he starts a petition trying to convince his competition, MSNBC, to hire somebody that can help MSNBC’s sagging ratings.

You did a great job.O’reilly likes to send his lackeys to peoples homes.
Take for example the Boston judge who was on his way to his sons wedding when ambushed by one of them.
They have routinely followed people to their front doors and continued to harass them when asked to stop.
I think Mike had a right to do what he did partially based on the threats O’Reilly made directly to him. By Mike doing this, he may have preempted O’Reilly from ever showing up at his home with a camera thus this can be classified as an act of self defense.
Another factor is O’Reilly’s history of having people show up at their homes and smearing them with allegations and O’Reilly printing personal info attempting to classify individuals (often falsely) as child abusers, perverts, etc….
It is also commonplace for the major networks to have someone show up at someone’s house with a camera crew without permission.
99% of the time Mike’s actions would have been wrong. I’m inclined to think that this was the other 1%.

If o’reily was the wacko you claim he was you would have been carried off his property. No doubt you knew that big old mean o’reilly wasn’t going to do anything, otherwise I can’t imagine someone like you showing up.

To go to O’Reilly’s house and post the signs around his neighborhood is really rediculous. The guy has children from crying out loud. Get a life! What are you, 50 years old? Don’t you have anything better to do with your life? You’re never going to amount to anything.

I can’t believe people take Bill seriously. Before Katie left the Today show, they had Bill on and she was interviewing him as if he were a serious journalist. I stopped watching Today at that very moment and haven’t returned.
ANYONE that would have Bill O on as a SERIOUS guest loses my respect and viewership.

my opinion is that mike stark was actually easy on him. funny how the smallest piece of payback draws so much criticism. at least mike did something. the rest of the blogosphere just bitched and moan about how o’reilly was treating them. they even went as far as to complain about jetblue who was just caught in the “crossfires”. i wish everyone was as active as mike stark is, including myself.

Funny, all I saw was Bill O’reilly taking the high road while Mike came across as rather childish with his line of questioning. But after seeing Mike at the Yearly Kos, I expected nothing less. I especially liked the “all republicans are dirtbags” comment Mike. Very constructive and mature.

Maybe you guys didn’t notice, but Oprah actually had O’Reilly on as an “expert” on child abuse!!! Can you believe that? I have sent several e-mails to her show, never get an answer. But I have stopped watching her show.

I’ve watched that pervert O’Reilly a few times since Starks’ magnificent achievement and since then,Fox news have not sent any of their lackeys out to ambush people outside of their homes.

Your supporters know you are a true patriot who’s willing to put yourself out there on the front lines confronting evil on its own turf, even knocking on its front door.

I think you didn’t go far enough. I was hoping for the impossible, wishing to see some bloody testicles hanging from that loofa.

I would suggest all of Kos’ posters read Saul Alinsky’s writings, especially his last book, Rules For Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals.
